Does anyone know the reason for the massive speculation in stock options? Especially the
Jan 25 and Jan 27 1/2 calls? It looks like the beginning of take over speculation. This
week option volitility has gone from 30 to 60 without any significant move in the stock.
Every order sent to the trading floor has been a buyer of calls. What are the chances
that somebody would bid for worldcom before they conclude their merger with mfs?
