| QSOUND at around $1.87 looks inviting. They are in a pact with 3 ACER computer plants to have their 3D Audio Technology assembled into the computers.
What makes this so interesting is that ACER recently inked a deal with IBM to build PCs for IBM to meet IBM standards and to be sold under IBM logo. A very large amount of PCs are to be built starting almost immediately.

See DOW NEWS - Wall Street Journal 12-11-96 for rest of story:

IBM for several years has used contractors to assemble some of its ThinkPad portable computers, but the Acer move would be the first time it has outsourced a large number of its desktop models. The move indicates that despite the extensive revamping of its PC division, IBM still has higher costs than some other PC makers.
Acer is a fast-growing PC supplier known for global operations and ability to tailor its products for each market.

So, if QSOUND is to be part of this deal then it looks pretty attractive to me. However, I am waiting for confirmation from QSOUND on this. QSOUND did tell me via E-Mail that they are indeed currently working with ACER. ACER is around $1.25/share and the symbol is ACEFF. I am looking for more info on QSOUND or ACER.

 Thanks................Jim
