This company has been receiving a lot of attention lately due to a possible joint-venture with Suncor and Central Pacific Mining to mine oil shale in Australia...according to CNBC/WSJ, Suncor has budgeted the $700 million needed to fund the project but has not given the green light as of yet...this stock has risen from the .75 cent level to as high as $6.50 in 1996...the impending Suncor deal will probably lead to other deals for SPPTY with other oil companies down the road.....does anyone have any other comments or information about SPPTY and how I can obtain more information about them?
