I heard Aksys recommended recently by Garrett Van Wagoner. It seems their up and coming commercialization of the Aksys PHD(TM) Personal Hemodialysis System could be a real winner.

They seem to have a lot of cash and recently took steps to protect themselves from a buyout attempt. The price has been up considerably in the last few days. Does anyone have any information on this company? Input would be appreciated.
