I think the offering of high-speed internet access to
hundreds of thousands of cable subscribers spells gold mine.
I believe they will charge about $50/month for high speed (up
to 36 Mbps or MBps or whatever...of course the average speed
will be much less than this but it will still blow the Sportster
out of its slot) access via cable modems in pcs connected to the same cable which provides cable TV in subscribers' homes.

So does anyone have anything bad to say about Cox?

Otherwise I believe the super rich in south Orange County (a Cox market) will quickly and joyously shell out large amounts of cash to get wired. never mind south OC they also have 500,000 subscribers
in San Diego...them beach bums might like that there blazing internet
access too.

I'm no financial guru but this looks very nice (to be uttered in
booming, burly French accent). Is there anything bad about Cox? will
there be gov't regulations which prevent them from charging too much?
