Rexhall Industries is a manufacturer of high quality recreational vehicles (RV's). The company was featured in a Worth magazine article in September of 1996 as a small cap stock pick. The article can be found at: worth.com . Shortly after the article the stock hit a 52 week high of $11.00 a share. The stock price has drifted lower since then, falling as low as $5 5/8 during 2/97 and closed at $6.50 on March 7, 1997. A current quote with 1 year chart can be found at: quote.yahoo.com. I have watched this stock closely since the Worth article and think it may be a good time to buy. Last year, the stock nearly doubled between March and October. The trailing PE ratio on $.79 EPS is 8.15. Last week's Barrons interviewed a successful Mutual Fund Manager (I'm sorry, I threw my copy away and can't remember his name or fund)who said he really likes the RV market segment at this time. He did not mention Rexhall but he did say that RV demand was picking up and that there are alot of old RV's on the road which may be replaced in the next few years with the much higher quality RV's available today. Rexhall makes a great RV. Please visit their website at: rexhall.com. I would appreciate any feedback/comments on this company! |
