Rainmaker Digital Pictures, which is an entertainment and technology company, with its primary services focused on post production for film, television, and new media distribution. Within Rainmaker's four operating divisions, the Company provides a full range of post production services, from film processing and printing through to digital editing into visual effects and interactive production technologies. Since 1979, the Company has been Western Canada's largest and most productive facility, providing post services on hundreds of TV commercials and corporate videos, TV series, TV movies and feature films. Operating out of a 36,000 square foot facility in downtown Vancouver, Rainmaker is the only company of its kind in North America.

Since going public in 1995 on the Montreal Stock Exchange, Rainmaker's fiscal 1996 net revenues increased to $2.0 million or $0.22 EPS, up 113% from 1995 net earnings of $953 thousand. With a pre-tax margin in excess of 20% and growing, and projected earnings of $3.2 million or $0.32 EPS in 1997, Rainmaker is demonstrating significant growth potential year over year.

Rainmaker is strategically positioned to acquire an ever increasing piece of the annual post-production expenditures in British Columbia. In Los Angeles, Rainmaker's recent post-production acquisition Starlight Images Inc. is already fully booked into mid-1998.
