I am kind of surprised that no one here tracks Ballantyne (BTN), a featured stock listed in the Magic 25 stocks for 97 in Individual Investors. I bought some after I read it at the beginning of the year, and it just did 2-3 split. It's trend is very stable and going up! The daily market ups and downs seems no effect on it - may be because it's in AMEX instead of NYSE or NASDAQ. Anyway, they supplies move equipment for cinema chains, like AMC. The things about is one is that it's very stable, nice trend, and the fundamental that those movie cinema chains are expanding, including to overseas, so the growth potential for this one can be quite decent in the next year or two. By the way AMC opened a move cinema near my home here in north Atlanta, and the sound and picture quality is very good, and there always a crowd there. This kind of tells you where BTN can be headed. Interesting one to watch. |
