Anyone else interested in this EDA company? It was a quiet IPO last October at $9.50, and has "traded" by appointment ever since. They are the the leaders in graphical tools for IC designers using hardware description languages (VHDL). They are partnered with Synopsis and Cadence, competing with a product from Mentor and with a Swiss company called Speed. They just acquired TriQuest, another HDL analysis/optimization tool vendor.
Robertson Stephens and Needham did the offering-Needham has '97 earnings estimated at .37, which gives a P/E of about 24X at today's price.
