BINX: Bionix Implants markets to orthopaedists, urologists, etc.
As an orthopaedist we first saw their product 3 mos ago at our largest national meeting. Few people had actually used the product by then. The product is called an Arrow and allows us to FIX the meniscal cartilages in the knee joint. Before this product came out very few orthopaedists had the skill to do so, and even if you did, it added at least 30 minutes to your procedure time and required an additional incision. Now with these arrows, it takes less than 5 minutes and everyone can do it !!! At our hospital alone, and we perform the second highest number of these surgeries in NYC, the use of the Arrow has increased over 500%. This product is incredible. It is fast, easy and PROPRIETARY, there is nothing else like it out there. This product alone, I believe will propel this stock forward for a while. As of their last quarter, very few people were using it and they still had > 100% increases in various numbers, I can not imagine what the numbers will be now. the rep we ask to bring the equipment into the hospital says he can't keep it on the shelves and as per the CFO they recently tripled their previous capacity.
Earing will be out mid July. the chart may be a little over-extended, but that's not what's driving this stock.
