Return to Stock Split Strategies

I have noticed that many stocks tend to rise sharply just before and after a stock split. This seems to happen even when the stock is otherwise a "dawg". It would seem that we could profit by buying stocks that are about to split before the upcoming split is widely known. There are usually clues to the upcoming split long before the announcement.

The purpose of this forum is to identify and discuss stock split situations. All are welcome but please stick to the topic and be professional in your posts.
