Return to Stratford Acquisition (HARD) - Turnaround Extraordinaire?

To All:

Thought it might be a good idea to start a new thread for this 'new'
company. New symbol (was SFDA, now HARD), but even better, new
management, great product (IMHO), and new marketing plan:

biz.yahoo.com
<<NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1997--Stratford Acquisition (OTC:HARD)
announced Monday that it has signed two agreements initiating an international
program for marketing its cement and mortar admixture products.>>, etc.

Some history can be found on the old (SFDA) thread, from the company's
moonshot of two years ago to its return to Earth (read CRASH), to its
present-day situation.

I have a definite interest in the success of this little company, as
a disproportionate amount of my limited net worth is invested in HARD.
Smart? DUMB? Time will tell.

Some observations and opinions (I've already told you I'm biased, so
best advice is to not believe a word I say. Hopefully, this might stir
some to do a little DD at which time you may, or may not, wish to take
the plunge):
Production began on a limited basis in early June; scheduled to expand
in August, when more production capacity is available.
International marketing agreements might lead to some significant
contracts in the short term. How soon? How many $$$? I don't know,
but with a $3M market cap, it might not take much to appreciate
stock price substantially.
Share cancellation program may not be completed for another couple of
months. When finished, it will indeed be finished. Shareholders might
be pleasantly surprised at the results (Original press release called
for 1.8M shares to be cancelled. Final tally may be even greater).
Considering the company's history, new management and new production
facility, management employed independent lab (Ortech, I assume) to
run new tests on NovaCRETE. Results were even better than anticipated;
NovaCRETE met or exceeded all former results re strength, durability,
non-corrosiveness, etc.

Not that it matters, but the rumor mill has it that in about 90 days,
company name will be changed to NovaCRETE. What the heck, guess we'll
start another new thread . . . if anybody else has posted by then.

That's about all I know. Hope it helps somebody out there,
David
