"MMC Networks designs, develops, and markets programmable network processors primarily for the enterprise network and service provider markets. The company's products, all of which are based on its ViX architecture, include the PS1000 Fast Ethernet and ATMS2000 ATM families of network processors. It markets its products through a direct sales and marketing organization to network equipment vendors. Its biggest customers are Cisco, Hitachi, and Mitsui Comtek, accounting for about 75% of sales. MMC outsources all of its semiconductor manufacturing to Oki Semiconductor and NEC in Japan, Motorola in the US, and TSMC in Taiwan."
