Return to The American Money Tree !

There is rapid change in the way we process information. We are at the beginning of the technology revolution. Processing capabilities have only recently become powerful enough to be useful and the internet is changing the way we communicate and work. The future holds a worldwide fiberoptic network and billions of devices with embedded computers.

Those businesses which don't leverage technology will inevitably fall to their competitors. We are about to see a technology race where every business worldwide will be spending on technology to become meaner and leaner. Much of this spending will be on products from companies listed on the American markets.

This thread is to put together a portfolio of stocks which will become a money tree as technology spending accelerates. No matter which proprietary or open systems predominate in the future, software and hardware will be in massive demand. The revenue potential for companies such as Microsoft and Intel, and their partners and competitors, is enormous compared to today's figures. By selecting a basket of stocks from all corners of the technology industry, a fortune can be made.

I'm looking for suggestions of those companies whose products and technologies have the potential to sell on a massive global scale. Although this money tree can be harvested simply by buying and holding, short term traders are welcome to contribute their ideas.
