Return to $0.50 & UNDER (Short term trades)

I was perusing through the Globe and Mail Buss. section today and it dawned on me that there are hundreds of speculative stocks out there that have 52 week highs of over $1.00 per share (or just under) and 52 weeks lows of less than (in some cases well under) 0.50.

If one where able to locate a few of these company's that fluctuated between .30 and .70 more than once in a couple of weeks and in some cases in less than a week, one could easily double and triple their money.

The reasons for these fluctuations don't matter as long as they do fluctuate. I guess another term could be dead cat bounces.

I'm of the opinion that if an individual where able to purchase 10 thousand of these shares and if that stock had sufficient volumes to enable one to trade in and out with ease one could earn 50-100% profit in two or three trades.

As an example I'll start off by pointing out a company that trades on the Alberta exchange. Symbol US.

Subject 16363

52 week high of .84 (attained: a couple of weeks ago) Not $1.00 yet, but who knows.
52 week low of 0.07 attained: who cares!!!

I started out by purchasing 20 thousand shares at .47 on a down dip. The next day I watched it go down to a low of .25 (albeit it was a small trade at that price) while the bulk of the stock traded at .30 and up.

The second day it climbed back up to over .40.

The third day it closed just under .50

The fourth day it closed at .62

A 30% gain in four trading days after the purchase is not bad in my books. The volumes traded per day in this stock would allow individuals to trade in and out with ease.

The stock is trading in this manner stricktly on rumour, promotion and up to now no substantiated facts. IMHO Pure speculation
