This company has announced that the FDA has approved their entry in to Phase 2 trials on an implantable contact lens.

An opthalmic surgeon friend has told me that if this is approved "finally" by the FDA, it will make both RK and PRK obsolete and could have an enormous market.

Any one out there have an opinion?
