I am creating this thread to talk about the new field of 'Voice-on-the-net'.
Companies like NSPK, VOCLF, DLGC, NMSS, LU, MLT, INTL, and many others are entering into this field to change the way telephony is done. There are estimates that voice-on-the-net (and basically packetized telephone networks) is going to be a multi-billion dollar field and there are going to be many small new companies coming up with excellent products and prospects in the stock market.
I want this thread to concentrate on the new and upcoming opportunities for investment in the VoIP field. I would like the discussion to bring up new companies, new technology, and new happenings in the field.
I am an engineer working on products for telephony and will try to answer any technical questions that come up and will do my best to stay unbiased. I hope others will do the same.
