What this thread isn't:
--isn't a thread to keep getting reassurances that you bought the right stock.
--isn't a thread for hypesters that are in love with one stock.
--isn't a thread to discuss what XYZ's stock is going to do tomorrow.
--isn't a thread for those that only want the alluring side of the story.
This is a thread to discuss the pros and cons of communications technology companies, and become aware of "cousin" stocks for further investigation. This means doing some homework is part of the "cover charge." The individual investor that has not done their homework is vulnerable to making mistakes in judgment due to emotional, rather than rational factors. Homework doesn't eliminate emotion or mistakes from the investment decision, but without it, a decision is pure emotion. Use the internet as a library, rather than an online National Enquirer. 'Infoseek' is one of the better search engines for technical content. When you find valuable links, please post them. However, Please refrain from posting links to company websites, as these are inherently biased.
