Here is a nice little company that went public today. Opened at 13 and burned rubber up to 19 1/2 and nobody knew about it. Not even its faithful followers. Talk about a well kept secret!
I say nice because IHI is involved in network marketing. It sells jewelery and asorted dust collectors. If you can't make money trading this stock you can join the IHI sales force and make it off your relatives.
International Heritage's goal is to turn $1 billion worth of revenues in the year 2000 and 100 million in profits with a 1 million person sales force.
IHI started 3 years ago and grossed about $5 million with a sales force of 5,000 people. This past year it grossed about $110 million with a sales force of 100,000 and claims growth around 300%. They appear to be on track in making their 5 year or year 2000 projection.
I believe todays IPO was for 400,000 shares. The downside is, so there will be enough to go around you can only buy 4 shrs. Ah what the heck, first come, first serve I always say. Besides, many of their sales people already hold options.
