Over the years, I have been warned man, many times NEVER to invest in stocks listed only on Canadian exchanges. I think this view has been passed on to a great number of US investors, who find Canada-listed stocks to be "scary", unreliable and having little or no available financial information. Is this an unfair stereotype, or is "avoid Canadian stocks" a pretty good rule of thumb?
