This company, NDS Software, has very quietly been building "homeseekers.com" and attracting real estate MLS orgs around the country. Home listings amount to over 500,000 from MLS's. The system enables an MLS to operate at lower costs than current non-internet systems, providing convenience and cost efficiency to prospective home buyers. The system delivers improved performance and operating features such as home search by state, county, town, price, size, location (water?), etc. The system simplifies the home buying process.
The Co. derives income from ads, mortgage leads and title insurance leads. Revs are starting to take off. Co did $1.6M in 96, most in second half, and will finish around $3.6M for fiscal 97 ending this June. Revs are expected to reach $20M next year. Company is allied with Better HOmes & Garden, listing 120,000 residential listings. NDSS (homeseekers.com) will be on the Better Homes internet site. Gary Buda, VP of Better Homes, said "they welcomed the association with NDSS and their strategic partners such as IBM and Stewart Title."
