Corporate Profile Informission (TSE : IFN) is committed to becoming a leading provider of integrated WEB solution and of real-time and embedded telecommunications software.
Founded in 1985, Informission Group inc. is building on its strengths in system integration, re-engineering software solutions and telecommunications real-time and embedded software solutions, to build a comprehensive Web solution, called DESTINATION WEB, for mid to large sized companies primarily in North America and Europe. Informission gained international recognition for its RECYC-ENTERPRISE suite of re-engineering software and has applied the same R&D methodology to develop its RECYC-WEB software for legacy systems - software which has gained strong pre-commercial response last March 1999. RECYC-WEB will be part of its DESTINATION WEB solution which, through acquisitions and strategic partnerships, also encompasses WEB strategy, design, development security and hosting. The company's telco embedded software operations and systems integration services are complementary to this strategy.
From 1996 to 1998, the company has achieved 86% average annual sales growth reflecting internal expansion and acquisitions. In recent months, the company has concluded two acquisitions and partnership which significantly bolster its systems integration and telco software operations internationally:
* In December 1998, Informission acquired Paris-based Infosphère, a system integrator which is a leader in the development and management of advanced security for relational databases in IBM environments, a very much needed expertise in the development of secured and interactive corporate web site.
* In April 1999, the company announced its partnership with WindRiver Systems, the leading provider of integrated development software tools, real-time operating systems and engineering services for embedded systems in the IP sector.
* In May 1999, Informission acquired Le Groupe SoftSystème a leader in the development of integrated e-commerce solutions on the WEB, intranet/extranet-type solutions, and intranet security applications.
Informission serves markets in North America and Europe through operations in Canada and France, and sales offices in North America and Europe. The company has licensed eight international systems integrators, including four major SISs, to market and install its products.
The company went public in April 1998, through a 34,5 million equity offering. The company has a strong balance sheet, and solid cash flow to fund its growth strategy.
