Hansen is an established, branded beverage company that specializes in natural beverages such as Ginko, Ginseng and other fruit drinks, smoothies, etc. Such beverages are selling quite well due to positive trends in natural herbs and vitamins. Last year, they brought over Arizona Ice Tea's National Sales Manager to Hansen to manage distribution. Hansens products are now sold in Trader Joes, as well as many other natural food stores. The company only has a marketcap of $29 million and is profitable. The only analyst that covers them is from Cruttenden Roth and his numbers are as follows: '98 Revenues of $51M, EPS .20+ (Fully taxed). The analyst has not yet updated '99 numbers. Clearly, his number will show improving business trends. I believe numbers will be going up as this company takes off. He recently increased this upcoming quarterly number from .01 to .03!!! (200% increase) due to the strong growth in the companies vitamin/healthy drinks take market share. I wonder if a Coca-Cola or some other beverage company won't take notice at some point.
It seems that someone has realized that this stock grew over 300% on the EPS line on a Y/Y basis (.13 vs .03!). I expect substantial growth due to some hot products. Top line continues to grow. Any comments? |
