Players Network Announces New Contracts
May 11, 1998 - Las Vegas, NV - Players Network (OTC BB : PNTV), the first digital 24-hour gaming and entertainment network which specializes in producing television programming to serve the rapidly growing gaming industry today announced the signing of a long term contract with Primadonna Resorts (PRMA : Nasdaq) to provide casino television programming to their three casinos in Primm Valley, Nevada.
The contract includes the premium service which Players Network produces including full customization for the casino/hotel. The contract calls for Players Network to provide their programming to Primm Valley, Buffalo Bill's and Whiskey Petes casino hotels at Primm Valley (formerly Stateline), Nevada. The network has already been installed and is operating at the 3 casinos.
Commenting on the new contracts, Mark Bradley, President of Players Network said, "The contract with Primadonna is exceptionally satisfying for us. Primadonna's casinos were 3 of the 5 casinos we used as test sites for the programming over the last year. The signing of this contract proves to us that once the casinos see our product and see the results our television programming can give to the property, they will understand our mission and how we can help their property in marketing, education and entertainment. With this contract we have now successfully converted 4 of the 5 test casinos into paying customers and with our recently announced contract with Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, this gives us 5 casino hotels which are currently under contract and utilizing our programming for the benefit of their casinos and their customers."
Players Network is the first and only television network dedicated to the gaming industry. Players Network provides in-room gaming programming for hotel casinos. Its programming is produced in their studios in Las Vegas, Nevada and distributed to client hotel casinos on a closed circuit basis with state of the art technology which was developed by SeaChange International (Nasdaq : SEAC).
The programming is designed to entertain and educate guests while acting as a marketing tool for the casino and advertisers. It educates guests on the various types of gaming available, how the casino games are played as well as sports and racing information, gaming news, entertainment, and promotions about the hotel casino and gaming facilities.
