Scottsdale Technologies Inc. (SDNI) began shipping Program Master, a digital remote control that allows personal computers to control various home entertainment systems even when they are away. The hardware and software product is being sold at Radio Shack for $30. The one-button clicker will search through a week's worth of program listings to match shows with a consumer's tastes. the system also can be programmed to work when consumers are away, turning on TVs, VCRs, cable boxes and satewllite receivers.
