Hopefully this is Kosher. I would like this to be a thread where we can exchange rumours on takeovers that we hear about. A BIG CAVEAT: Resonsible rumours only allowed. Be prepared to back up what you post. No need to give out sources, but, give numbers of why it would make sense for the target company to be taken over. Yesterday, the persistant romour going around was that Provigo was a target by Loblaws. Book value on Provigo is only $4.00 though so i couldn't see it happening. Today I heard Doman might be in play. I'll give reasons on Monday.
