iParty is a new web-based company which is planning to become THE internet site for party goods and services. Web site is to be up and running in late September.

NEW YORK, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- iParty Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IPTY) announced today,
the election of its newly constituted Board of Directors and officers. This is the first meeting of the
Board since the merger of iParty Corp. into WSI Acquisitions Inc. which had traded as (OTC Bulletin
Board: WSIAD).

The company's Board of Directors is as follows: Robert Lessin, Chairman, Mr. Lessin is currently
Chairman of Wit Capital, and formerly Vice-Chairman of Salomon Smith Barney Inc.

Sam Belzberg, Mr. Belzberg is President of Gibralt Capital Corporation a private investment company
with equity interests in several private and public companies.

Byron Hero Jr., Mr. Hero is the Chief Executive Officer, iParty Corp., and is the former CEO of
Danskin, Inc.

Ajmal Khan, Mr. Khan, is President and founder of the Verus Group, a Pacific Rim investment group
involved in venture capital financing, and merchant banking.

Maureen Broughton Murrah, is President, iParty Corp., and a former senior account executive at
Nike, Inc.

In addition, the Board confirmed the appointment of Richard A. Eisner & Company, LLP as the
company's auditors and the retention of Camhy Karlinsky & Stein as General Counsel and Pennie and
Edmonds as patent and trademark counsel.

The Board also ratified the contracts of iVillage of New York and Fry MultiMedia of Ann Arbour,
MI. i-Village will complete and maintain the content portion of the company's web site and is the
leading on-line network for women and parents with over 66 million page views per month. Fry, the
commerce data base management partner, was recently named one of the top twenty web site
builders in the world by Internet Computing magazine.

iParty is building a Web site that is intended to become a comprehensive, branded Internet resource
for consumers seeking to purchase party goods and services. It expects to launch the site in late
September 1998.
