Here's the story: Hollywood relic Debbie Reynolds has a hotel and casino in Las Vegas, the Debbie Reynolds Hotel and Casino. It's been losing money for years, and was finally forced into a bankruptcy auction in 8/98. So who's the bottom-fisher who snags it? None other than World Wrestling Federation genius Vince McMahon who, in the 80s, single-handedly turned rasslin' into one of the most popular and profitable shows in town. Can he do the same for Debbie's hotel? That's for you to decide.

I haven't been able to turn up much DD, except for the articles linked below announcing the take-over, and that the stock was at 50 cents as recently as 3/98. Anyone who can contribute please do so. This could be as much fun as a body slam from the top rope.
