Entrust Technologies' security products assure the privacy of elctronic data and transactions across corporate computer networks and the Internet. Its Entrust suite of tools automates the management of digital certificates, the electronic passports that identify each computer user. Entrust's products also monitor applications such as remote access and e-mail. Customers include J.P. Morgan, the Department of Defense, NASA, and other financial institutions, government agencies, and corporations. Entrust has offices in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. Canadian telecom giant Northern Telecom owns 66% of the company.
