Castlewood Systems is a new company that is offering a 2.2 Gig Disc Drive called ORB that may devastate its competition from Iomega and Syquest. Its founder is Syed Iftikar, who also took part in founding Seagate and Syquest. Because Castlewood at present is not a publicly traded company, there can be no discussion of its stock price. However, intentions have been brought forward by Castlewood management that an IPO may be in the works for Summer 1999.
