Company Press Release
TCP's Thermotech Technology Responsible for Unprecedented Revenue Growth
EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--TCP/Reliable Inc. (OTCBB:TCPN - news) announces the results of its largest sales month ever recorded, August 1998: an increase of 132 percent over August 1997 and exceeding forecasted sales by 40 percent.
Expected third quarter 1998 revenues represent a 90 percent increase over the prior year's quarter. The backlog is now over $3MM, with such revenues to be derived through the first quarter 1999.
Sanford L. Cook, president and CEO attributes these results to ''the increasing roster of manufacturers providing custom protection for their climate sensitive products through packaging systems designed with Thermotech technology.''
The Thermotech(tm) technology provides environmental chambers that are custom engineered to transport multiple or single use primary containers. TCP has integrated this technology into both pharmaceuticals and biologics carriers. Thermotech products will be on display at the TCP Booth No. 910 WORLDPHARM98(tm), September 22-24, 1998, Pennsylvania Convention Center.
This climate control packager designs, creates, tests, and manufactures temperature control packaging systems for the pharmaceutical, food and industrial categories. TCP also provides yearly seminars featuring thermodynamics, hazardous material packaging, climate sensoring and testing/validation procedures.
