FLYR provides corporate travel management services to the U.S., Canada and the U.K., offering reservations by phone, fax, e-mail and the Internet and ticketing, accounting and other services. For the fiscal year ended 4/25/98, revenues rose from $57.7 million to $120.4 million. Net income increased 1% to $3.4 million. Revenues reflect the acquisition of seven companies since the prior period.
Navigant International, one of four companies spun off by U.S. Office Products, provides corporate travel management services in the US, Canada, and the UK. Created by the consolidation of 11 regional travel agencies, Navigant International provides reservations,ticketing, accounting, information and management reporting, trip planning, and travel management consulting services. The company staffs more than 200 travel agencies on customers' premises and about 130 regional travel agency offices. It operates more than 300 satellite ticket printers in customers' offices and books about three million airline tickets annually. Navigant International intends to continue to expand through acquisitions.
