It seeks to serve as a forum for those who are convinced that a Y2K related stock market crash will occur in 1999 to 2000 which will be of at least 30% to 50% in severity. At the current level of 9,300 that equates to 2,800 to 4,650 pts. This forum seeks to generate a list of index and individual equitiy strategies that may be implemented on the short side. Areas or interest include index strategies, individual equity puts, leap puts, outright shorts, and warrant strategies.
