The BCS is back to haunt us one more time...This contest is a spin-off of the BCS ranking system. You will be picking games and assigning a confidence level to the games you pick. The results will be ranked like the BCS to obtain the final results.
CONTEST RULES:
1. Spreads and over/unders will be posted under post #1 on this thread.
2. You must pick a minimum of 10 propositions (either sides or totals). There is no maximum. A push will be regarded as a tie.
3. With each pick, you will assign between 1 star and 5 stars on each play. On ONE (1) pick you may assign up to 10 stars. This will be your Game of the Year. There is no obligation to do a GOTY, the only rules are that you wager at least 1 star on every game, and that you may make one pick worth between 6 to 10 stars. If you get a game right that you had 5* on, you get +5. If your wrong, you get -5.5 (10% juice is assesed on losses). A push is worth zero. If you forget to assign a star value to a pick, you will receive 1* for that play.
4. Your BCS Ranking will be determined as follows: 1) All participants will be ranked 1 thru whatever based on winning pecentage. If your first you will get 1 point, if your second you'll get 2 points, etc. That's half your score. 2) All participants will be ranked 1 thru whatever based on net stars as described in #3 above. This is the other half of your score. These two rankings will be added up, and the lower score the better.
5. ENTRY DEADLINE IS CHRISTMAS DAY (12/25) BY 2:00 est. If you chose games played before that date, all your picks must be in by gametime of the first game you select. You get ONE entry, all picks for this contest must be submitted by one of these two deadlines. Games cannot be added peacemeal. ONE ENTRY WITH ALL YOUR SELECTIONS.
