We all want that plot of land to call our own a custom home with a view beyond our neighbor's unkept back yard, a woodworking shop spread evenly across the entire garage.
I am a small general contractor (basically a carpenter with responsibilities trying not to drown in all the paperwork) trying to make some additional money in the stock market so that my wife and I can buy the land and build the home and make our own furniture.
I assume there are many other builders within SI that need to take a break from all the stock market madness and talk for a moment about something real to us, something as familiar as our calloused hands and pickup trucks.
