Net Shepherd Virtual Community Technology Passes Crucial Acceptance Test

CALGARY, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - Net Shepherd Inc. (ASE:WEB), today announced
that it has successfully passed a critical scalability and functionality
Acceptance Test for VanMc Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, for its Internet
technology, tools and rating service. The Corporation is also expanding the
size of its Virtual Community to in excess of 15,000 members. This Acceptance
Test milestone brings total revenue earned to date on the project to $2.32
Million (CDN) in contract payments and bonuses under the terms of its $3.4
Million (CDN) contract with VanMc Inc.
Underscoring Net Shepherd's leadership position in the Internet filtering
and rating market, the Corporation also announced that it is now offering its
technology for Electronic Business Communities and other non-filtering related
Internet applications. With Virtual Communities becoming one of the next
imperatives for businesses competing in the 'Net economy, Vanenburg Ventures
BV and Dun and Bradstreet join a growing list of customers and partners
looking at deploying and integrating Net Shepherd's Virtual Community
solutions. Vanenburg Ventures BV is currently evaluating Net Shepherd's
technology for possible inclusion in its next generation of value-added
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
