APC Telecommunications (APCI) is a new-age telecommunications company. According to my DD, it has developed an integrated world-wide Internet telephony service -- its a $740-Million business which is expected to grow (according to Internet technology sources) to $60-Billion by the year 2002.
My DD indicates that the management of APCI has very strong experience and background in the telecommunications field. The company is also moving into an innovative "guaranteed-lowest-rate" (GLR*tm) long distance re-selling (it has recently moved into Canada and is adding major cities to its list). Under the GLR program it offers customers the lowest long distance rate compared to the three biggies -- Bell, Sprint, AT&T.
APCI is positioned as the next candidate as a "hot" item to break out on the list of Internet stocks, IMHO. |
