As part of Master of School Administration program, I am required to participate in a humanities seminar. We have read the works of Plato, Buber, Wordsworth, Emerson, and Melville. My task now is to address an issue of the human existence. My hypothesis is that the search for God (whatever that ends up being) is shared by all people, but that the various cultures of the world are the primary determinant of an individual's concept of God. I would like to be involved in dialogue, not criticism or evangelism, with others about this issue. |
