The Story:

iBiz Technology Corp is a designer and manufacturer of unique "small footprint" technology solutions for the limited workspace environment. The Company also offers a full line of notebook computers and LCD monitors under the iBiz labels of "iBook" and "iView".

In testament to their longevity, stability, and experience, iBiz Technology Corp has been in operation for the past two decades (as SouthWest Financial )providing the financial industry with innovative high tech solutions. Impressed with SouthWest Financial's innovative product designs, a strong customer base developed including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Security Pacific, and First Interstate Banks.

On February 1st 1999, the Company changed its name to iBiz Technology Corp to keep pace with their rapid development of new innovative business solutions and allow easier product recognition.

In 1990, in cooperation with Wells Fargo Bank and SHARP electronics, the Company produced the first plain paper fax machine.

During COMDEX '96, the Company introduced their prototype desktop computer product called the Vision2000 NoteStation. The Vision2000 garnered acclaim from industry experts and was lauded industry-wide as a breakthrough product. Response from retailing giants like CompUSA, Best Buy, and Circuit City at these trade shows spawned the concept of manufacturing a convertible notebook computer. Based on the Vision2000 NoteStation design, it would harness the power of a desktop within the space constraints of a notebook design while accomplishing the computing mission of both in a single device.

After two years of designing and tooling, iBiz Technology Corp has created their flagship product- the iT-8000. Using less that one square foot of desktop space, the iT-8000 is the smallest PC-compatible desktop solution currently available.

Currently, computers and related peripherals in the North American financial market are a billion dollar per year industry.

iBiz is the only computer manufacturer that is both experienced with the technological needs of the financial industry, and designs computers and peripherals specifically for that market.

iBiz recognizes the necessity of being "cutting edge", and allocates a large percentage of their budget to research and development. The Company continues to produce innovative products which are industry firsts. Some of these products have included the EPSON iT-U375 computer/transaction printer hybrid, the numeric-only keypad/touchpad hybrid, and their TellerVision keyboard.

The year 2000 is quickly approaching, and many financial institutions are looking for viable, cost effective solutions to deal with the Y2K bug. They need teller station computers that will fit in their current space restrictive environment, and have the computing muscle to handle state-of-the-art software. The iT-8000 which uses less than one square foot of desktop space, excels in both areas and is competitively priced under $1800.00

Most recently, the Company has expanded into the Personal Home Computer market offering a complete line of competitively priced build to order notebook computers including the only ultra slim three pound portable with a 12.1" display and a Pentium II slim line notebook with DVD drive and 14.2 display. iBiz also offers an LCD monitor line ranging from 12.1" to 17".

iBiz Technology Corp researches and develops innovative computer products in an on going basis to maintain their cutting edge in the marketplace.
