THE COMPANY
The primary business of Icron Systems is contract electronics manufacturing services (EMS). Icron assembles printed circuit boards and electronic products on a consignment and turnkey basis. The manufacturing facility includes a complete surface mount technology manufacturing line that includes two Panasonic SMT pick and place machines. The Company began providing EMS services on a commercial basis on May 1, 1998. Icron provides ongoing services to Ballard Power Systems Inc., Douglas Power Equipment Ltd., Moli Energy (1990) Limited (a subsidiary of NEC of Japan), Silent Witness Enterprises Ltd. and SmarTire Systems Inc.

The Company is also developing enhanced range Universal Serial Bus (“USB”) technology that it intends to integrate into a series of networking products. These products are expected to address a perceived need for integrated communications systems for small and medium sized businesses.

- On January 20th, 1999, the Company announced that Mr. Ken Carlson has joined the firm as Senior Financial Officer. Mr. Carlson has spent the last nine years at Motorola Canada Ltd. at their “Mobile Data Division”.
