This thread is formed to provide day and/or active traders with a forum to discuss and exchnage ideas about
1)Stock Screening Software for Real Time Data (including but not limited to Radar Station, Trade Station, AIQ Trading Expert, Real Time Idea Machine, Live Wire, as well as those filters provided by brokers like MB trading, and executioner)
2) Execution Programs (including but not limited to Real Tick III, Cybertrader, and REDI Plus, as well as those offered by Broadway Trading and All Tech/Attain)
Generally, Day or active Traders use one of the above-listed execution programs in conjunction with either the screening software offered by their brokers, or a third-party screening software.
Although there is an ever increasing number of daytrading brokers out there, there are only a few execution programs that are being offered to the traders. Accordingly, I strongly urge you to avoid turning this thread to an advertising site for various brokers, in that those brokers who use the same execution program or software do not differ much from each other in terms of the technology that they can offer to traders.
I have used Real Tick III, and Cybertrader in the past but am presently considering to swtich to Redi Plus. However, I am being told that the new version of Redi Plus will not be released until next month. I have also found the stock screening features offered by the brokers to be of very little help. As such, I am also contemplating the idea of subscribing to AIQ or purchasing Radar Station to screen the data and use either Redi Plus or Real tick III to execute my orders.
If you are a day and/or active trader who is currently using one of the software or programs that I have listed or are using another program that you are happy with, I would appreciate any comments that you may have and encourage you to share your experience with all of your fellow traders.
