This company looks very interesting to me. I think it's worthwhile to discuss this company here:

Lotus Pacific is a parent company of five subsidiaries: Regent Electronics Corp., TurboNet Communications, Arescom, US Securities and Futures Corp., and Professional Market Brokerage. Lotus bought TurboNet Communications for $80 million and Arescom for $30 million in March 1998. TurboNet sells cable modem and chip sets like Broadcom. Arescom supplies Internet routers. Regent Electronics has developed its set-top box (similar to WebTV) for both the U.S. and international market.

Lotus' business concept is Internet-WallStreet Solutions. It will integrate its set-top box, cable modem, router technologies and financial trading services together. It is also going to offer total solutions for hotel Internet access. I think it's a winning combination.
