NUEQQUS Petroleum Corporation (the "Company") has completed a recently announced private placement of 1,063,000 units, the proceeds of which will go to general working capital and debt retirement.

In addition, the Company will be considering offers, from interested parties, for the sale of some of its properties.

With the proceeds from the private placement, and the potential sale of some of its properties, the Company will be in a financial position to pursue other areas of interest.
