I recently saw "The Truman Show" and thought the idea was excellent(as was the film). Do you think the portrayal of a guy in Truman's position was realistic? How do you think his life would have been after he left the set - maybe worse?
What do you think would happen if a corporation were to place young children/babies in a closed environment and allowed them to grow up without any outside influences. Unlike the "Lord of the Flies" issue, however, these children would have no previous experience of a "civilized" world.What would their language be like, their behaviour, their values? Would they be inherently bad or good? |
