Thought I'd see if this can get going again.
Unusually high volume and large block trades tend to indicate a upcoming run in the price of a stock in the following 3-4 days.
What I would like is for people to indicate unusual volume in a stock they are familiar with. Tell the other members what the usual volume is (a volume/price list of the previous 5 days is helpful) and the current volume. Any other helpful info on the company is welcome but the main feature of this thread will remain the volume.
With any luck we can find a run 1-2 days before it happens. Consequently it's vital to post your observations ASAP once your comfortable that it's truly unusual.
