The Fatburger hamburger chain, first appeared in 1952.
A well-known trademark in Los Angeles. The original
restaurant, on Western Avenue, is still operating. The
chain is experiencing a 30% sales growth in it's franchise
division this year.
There are 13 company owned Fatburger restaurants
in the Los Angeles, California market and franchisees
22 restaurants in Southern California and Las Vegas,
Nevada under the Fatburger name. There are 3 new
franchised restaurants under construction with two
units expected to open in June 1999 and the third to
open in August 1999.
Currently, there are commitments and deposits for another
24 franchised units.
