Quintek Technologies Completes Contract With Royal Netherlands Army

CAMARILLO, Calif., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Quintek Technologies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: QTEK) today announced that together with its
49-percent owned Swedish subsidiary, Qtek AB, it has completed a contract with the Royal Netherlands Army (RNA) to convert over 27,000
digital files into aperture card media.
Aperture cards are used by thousands of companies worldwide for the long-term archiving of critical engineering and business information.
Renewal RNA contracts are expected in the near future, said Quintek.
The company will be assisted in securing conversion contracts with additional clients by its manufacturing partner, Bofors AB, a division of
the Celsius Group, a multi-billion dollar corporation headquartered in Stockholm.
Quintek said it plans to expand upon this conversion service by using the Internet to retrieve digital information from customers around the
world, converting the information into aperture card format, and storing the aperture cards in an "Iron Mountain" facility, provided by Bofors
AB, where they will be secure and retrievable for over 100 years.
Quintek supplies equipment software, media, and services related to converting digital information into archival media for off-site backup and
long-term storage. Off-site backup insures against the loss of digital information due to catastrophic events. Long-term storage media insures
against the loss of digital information due to computer virus, technology obsolescence, year 2000 rollover, equipment failure, media
degradation, change in formatting standards and software incompatibility.
