The title of his book is: "The Innovator's Dilemma: When New Technologies Cause Great Firms to Fail".
He pointed to two recent examples:
HP's inkjet vs laserjet; how HP set up a separate business units to deal with the problem; and ...
Intel's Celeron vs Cyrix (& AMD); how Intel created the Celeron to deal with low-cost microprocessors.... (and National just gave up on Cyrix).
