I am starting my own think tank or Master Mind Trading Club. I want to put together a group of highly successful, full-time traders that would take turns writing a commentary or “daily contribution”.
The idea for the name and concept comes from Napoleon Hill in his famous book Think & Grow Rich. Chapter 10 is called the “Power of the Master Mind.” The following is a few quotes form that chapter…
* “Power may be defined as organized and intelligently directed knowledge.”
* “The Master Mind may be defined as: coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
He addresses the psychic phase of the Master Mind Group as very difficult principle to comprehend. Mr. Hill goes on to say “You may catch a significant suggestion from this statement: “ no two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind."
* “When a group of individual brains are coordinated and function in harmony, the increased energy created through that alliance becomes available to every individual brain in the group.”
* “It is a well know fact that Henry Ford began his business career under the handicap of poverty, illiteracy, and ignorance. My idea is to put together a group of experienced day traders, that trade full time for a living to take turns writing a commentary. I would like to start with a minimum of five people.
I would like to expand on the idea of writing a daily commentary and give the author of the day the flexibility to write whatever he or she wants to. I would like to call it the daily contribution. This leaves it wide open to the author of the day to write about a particular methodology that they trade, a particular setup they want to elaborate on, set up's to be leery of, money management, a book, tape or seminar review, their philosophy or as simple as a chart from the days activity outlining a set up that they feel is a very high probability trade, a or what I call a (CIT) Cannot Ignore Trade. A If they choose to write a commentary it does not even have to be limited to that day so long as it was with in that week. Some traders do not trade everyday because they are only looking for set ups that occur a few times a week. The only requirement is that the trader be honest. If they had a losing day, we want to here about it. If we don't learn from other traders mistakes that means we may have to make the mistakes ourselves, which is a lot more costly. The other requirement I would like to suggest is that with each daily contribution that the trader include from that day or if need be that week their top pick of a classic set up. It does not have to be a huge move but a very high probability trade set up.
The only cost to join the club is the contribution to the group so I am sure that our daily contributions won't be passed around to non-member since every member is paying their dues by contributing. Since we will start with a minimum of 5 members the most you will have to write a daily contribution is once a week and of course that will decrease with time.
I dedicated about 9 months studying and paper trading 12-15 hours a day, 5 to 7 days a week. I was consistently paper trading with very profitable results for 4 months before I started to trade real money.
Everyone told me that when I start trading real money I would not obtain the same results. They were wrong. I have been earning 100% per month since I started trading real money.
I don't want to bring in inexperienced traders to the club. This will not be a platform to teach inexperienced traders. That is very time consuming. It is a worthy cause I and I am all for it but that is not the idea of this platform.
If you want to join you must be willing to exchange copies of your account statements with me to show that you have earned at least earn 20% per month from the past three months. PS. May be down the road we will charge a small monthly or yearly fee if we want to put up an FTP web site to post audio messages and indicators members want to share. Also we could consider doing a monthly conference call or even a weekly on say Monday mornings from 8am est to 9am est.
