Company Description
Network Plus is a network-based communications provider offering broadband data and telecommunications services. Our bundled product offerings include local and long distance services, as well as enhanced, high-speed data and Internet services, primarily utilizing digital subscriber line, or DSL, technology. Since 1990, we have targeted small and medium-sized business customers located in major markets in the northeastern and southeastern regions of the United States. As of May 15, 1999, we served approximately 40,000 customers representing in excess of 200,000 access lines. We had total revenue of $105.5 million in 1998 and $33.6 million in the first quarter of 1999, substantially all of which was attributable to the sale of long distance services. We commenced offering local services in September 1998 and DSL services in May 1999.
We believe that our recent introduction of local and DSL services and the continuing expansion of our network enable us to cross-sell services to our existing customer base, acquire new customers and improve overall margins.....
